6 Healthy Fasting Snacks

Fasting is a part of Indian culture. No matter which religion or community you belong to, certain days in the year are marked off for a fast. Fasting usually means you eat different kinds of food, giving your body and digestive system a much needed break. Snacking becomes even more important during a fast because some people entirely skip meals. Here are some healthy and tasty snacks that you can eat during a fast:

  1. Shakarkandi Chips: Shakarkandi or sweet potato chips are a great option for a fasting snack. Simply slice sweet potatoes thinly, sprinkle some rock salt and pepper, and then bake until crispy.   2. Baked Banana Chips: Banana chips are a popular snack in India, and they are often consumed during fasting.
